Early january 2003, the Festival au Désert - the most remote musical festival ever in the world -
took place in the dunes of Essakane, 60 kms west (and 5 hours !) of Timbuktu (Mali).
Some us of were lucky enough to be there. Those pictures are a modest attempt to illustrate this amazing event.
